Advantech is a partner of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) in the Technology Partner Network (TPN) programme. In TPN Advantech has focus on BMGF’s projects and grantees in Sub Saharan Africa to support them in IT strategy, business process optimization, appropriate technology selection and implementation,
change, risk and project management and quality assurance.
Advantech is the Eastern Africa regional partner for Grant Management Solutions (GMS) which is a USAID funded project to promote access to Global Fund (GF) opportunities for medium sized organizations with focus on providing fnancial management, procurement and supply management, governance and oversight, and monitoring and evaluation technical input for principal recipients (PRs) and County Coordinating Mechanisms (CCM)
The Rockefeller Foundation funded our innovation to design, develop and deploy a Monitoring and evaluation, and reporting IT system to support donors and organizations in the development sector in the M&E and reporting requirements. With collaboration of fhi360 we worked with fhi260’s capable partners (CAP) to deploy the system. The partners are NGOs in various social sectors – health, education and agriculture.
Advantech has partnered with MercyCorps on implementation of social projects in Sub Saharan Africa. These projects are in agriculture, health and education.
Advantech is a business to customer and customer to business partner in Safaricom’s MPESA mobile money transfer system. Advantech has designed and developed applications and interfaces to MPESA to facilitate electronic transfer of cash from credit/debit card to mobile money account. This system is especially useful for international diaspora remittances and NGO international and local fundraising.
Advantech is partner in the USAID funded East Africa Trade and Investment Hub (EA TIH). This is a five year programme starting in 2014 and Advantech is providing ICT for trade facilitation expertise as well as business analysis and optimization
Advantech is a partner of Khulisa on a Global Fund Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for Health Facilities Assessments (HFA) and Data Quality Reviews (DQRs).
The Network for Technical Assistance Providers comprises ten companies based in Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean. All ten are regional partners in the USAID-funded, Grant Management Solutions (GMS) project, a consortium led by Management Sciences for Health (MSH).
